- Inspected vehicles braking system. Placed vehicle onto hoist and lifted vehicle. Visually inspected front and rear pads and rotors. Front brake pads are about 10mm in thickness and rears are about 5mm in thickness. Upon Physical inspection of the rear brakes I verified that the pad thickness is 5mm for all four rear brake pads. Rotors measure 8.5mm which the minimum before needing replacement is 8mm. I found that there is no cracking. Pads and Rotors are slightly glazed from brake dust. Rotors do not contain excessive lateral runout indicating rotors are not warped. Test drove vehicle and could not duplicate rear brake squeak during braking. Also during test drive I did not experience any brake pulsation verifying that the rotors are not warped. Vehicle will need rear brake pad/ rotor replacement in the future possibly upon or shortly after next oil change service.
