- P0171 SYSTEM TOO LEAN (BANK 1) P0101 MASS AIR FLOW CIRCUIT RANGE / PERFORMANCE Vehicle was brought in to diagnose a CEL on the dash board. Vehicle contained these codes that are listed above. Inspected air intake system near the mass air flow sensor/ meter and found that one of the vacuum lines was disconnected. Customer stated they recently had taken vehicle to other shop for an oil change service. Customer stated light illuminated after previous service. Plugged in vacuum hose that connects to air intake hose. Cleaned mass air flow sensor to be on the safe side and cleared codes. Monitored engine data while running and found that there are no issues with the mass air flow sensor and codes have not returned.
