- Customer reported vehicle is not reaching appropriate operating temperature during vehicle operation. Vehicle also has a CEL appearing on the instrument cluster. Verified vehicle does not reach operating temp in a timely ordered manner during test drive prior to repairs. Used APOLLO D8 scanner to scan codes. The CEL code is P0128 Coolant Thermostat (Coolant temperature below Thermostat regulating temperature). R&R thermostats cleared codes. Washed engine bay with water after filling coolant level to manufacturer specifications. Test drove and verified vehicle temperature is at manufacturer operating temperature. Replacement of thermostats resolved P0128/ Vehicle operating temperature concern. CUSTOMER IS AWARE OF RADIATORS CONDITION. REPLACEMENT OF RADIATOR WILL BE SCHEDULED AT A FUTURE DATE UPON CUSTOMER REQUEST.
