- Vehicle contained DTC P0300 CYLINDER MISFIRE DETECTED. Upon inspection of the ignition system I found that the spark plugs and wires were worn and damaged by corrosion resulting in a misfire condition specifically affecting cylinders 1 & 3. Verified this diagnosis by monitoring engine misfire data and observing continuously at cylinders 1 & 3. R&R spark plugs and wires. Applied dielectric grease to all contact points between the spark plugs, wires and ignition coils. Cleared codes and test drove vehicle. Verified repair using TRITON D10 scan tool to monitor engine misfire data and recorded that there are no longer any misfires.
