    • Vehicle has an intermittent check engine light that illuminates on the dash. Vehicle contains stored code P0300 RANDOM/ MULTIPLE CYLINDER MISFIRES. Smoke machine test did not find any leaks. Upon inspection of the ignition system I found no obvious faults. I did find oil in multiple spark plug tubes indicating leaking valve cover gaskets/ spark plug tube seals. Coolant is also leaking from the coolant passage manifold gaskets as well as from the intake manifold gaskets. These leaks can result in a random cylinder misfire when vehicle reaches operating temperature. All leaks from the engine need to be resolved to fix P0300.
